Design, creation, content director and writer spezialiced in XR narratives. I have directed projects in the area of advertising, education, entertainment and health. I have led the narrative design and content direction in numerous jobs, including the virtual reality experience of "La Peste" ("The Plague") and "Virtual Hero VR" for Movistar +, Rehab VR, a physical and cognitive rehabilitation project for patients with Multiple Sclerosis in its hospital, home and multiparticipatory version thanks to 5G and AECC's (Spanish Association Against Cancer) "Gaia VR", two relaxation and distraction projects for cancer patients and their families during perfusion and for the psycho-oncology sessions.
BIO
Graduated in Cinema and Audiovisual Media at Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC, University of Barcelona) with a specialty in scriptwriting and cinematographic writing, she received a scholarship to pursue postgraduate studies in Scriptwriting and Production at the Escuela Internacional de Cine y TV de San Antonio de los Baños- Cuba ( EICTV).
She began her career by combining the production of commercials with musical theater ("Singing in the rain", "Man of La Mancha"). She made the leap to television, where she wrote for entertainment programs and fiction series ("Escenas de Matrimonio") for general and regional channels, also developing television formats ("Urbanitas por el campo" RTVE, "Las rutas Capone" RTVE). Simultaneously, she design, writes and directs branded content campaigns and transmedia content for brands from various sectors, clients such as Morena Films, Orange, Bankia, Acciona, Banco Santander, Repsol, Once, Ford, Inditex, UE Commission, EfeAgro, Mindshare/Mediacom, Globally, Atresmedia, TEN Televisión, LMVH, Mazda, Moulinex, Rowenta, B, the Travel Brand, beginning its specialization in content design for the health sector in digital and interactive campaigns and audiovisual communication solutions for Roche Laboratories and MSD.
She leaded the Creative Content Department of the immersive development studio La Frontera VR from its begining, which became a benchmark studio in Spain. She designed, writed and directed cutting-edge virtual reality and XR experiences in which ludonarrative prevails, such as "Virtual Hero VR" (Premiered at the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival) and "Barro y Oro”, VR promotional experience for TV series "La Peste" ("The Plague") both designed and developed for Movistar +. She designs, write, create content and the mise in scène of XR immersive events for PVH (Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger), OpenBank, Lancôme , Ford. She designs the strategic approach, writes and directs the VR documentary "Through my eyes: a documentary against female genital mutilation" for the NGO AMREF Flying Doctors, premiered at the Donosti Film and Human Rights Festival.
She specializes in creating and developing specific XR experiences by creating intuitive interactive storytelling, implementing real-time gamification, creating memorable stories, and effective experiences. RehabVR a VR cognitive and phisical rehabilitation program por Multiple Sclerorsis patients develeoped in conjunction with Roche Laboratories and Hospital Universitario La Princesa, its multi-stakeholder version in 5G develope together with Telefónica and Hospital Universitario La Princesa. She designs, writes and directs XR solutions for education, health and scientific dissemination for laboratories such as AstraZeneca, Daichii Sankyo, Novartis, GSK and Ipsen. She designs and creates the narrative of surgery simulators and diagnostic tools with XR technology, applying the narrative as a fundamental element for clear engagement, immersion and awareness.
Angelica is the first spanish XR content writer and director author in a Scientific Publication at Frontiers in Neurology.
In the educational field, she has been lecturer at the Appa and Adecco Audiovisual Conferences at the Spanish Academy of Arts and Cinematographic Sciences, teacher of narrative and creation of transmedia branded content at the Master of Marketing and Communication at the Impresa Institute (Rome, Italy). She has also been teacher at ArteGB's Film Marketing courses and in the Creative Branded Content Course. She also colaborates with the Faculty of Audiovisual Communication at the Miguel Hernández University (Elche, Spain) lecturing on storytelling in immersive media.
